On 15th December 2016, AS Watson Group won three awards at the Hong Kong Outstanding Corporate Citizenship Awards, including a Silver Award in Enterprise Category, a Merit Award in Volunteer Team Category, and the Corporate Citizenship Logo. The awards scheme was organised by the Hong Kong Productivity Council & the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education, with the goal of recognising corporations that effectively incorporate the idea of corporate citizenship into everyday operations, and who actively fulfil social responsibilities. Since setting up the Global CSR Committee in 2011, the Group has been coordinating with business units around the world to implement strategic measures and new policies, ensuring our daily operations and corporate developments achieve sustainable standards. Since establishing the ASW Volunteer Team in 2005, the Group has also managed to reach out to over 250,000 beneficiaries.
