AS Watson is pleased to announce the appointment of Rebecca Chiu Wing Yin as the company's Community Relations Manager. Rebecca, previously served as the coach for the Hong Kong squash team, brings a wealth of experience and a strong background in sports to her new role.
Rebecca will assume her role as Community Relations Manager at AS Watson in November 2023, and she will play a vital role in supporting AS Watson's sports-related projects in Hong Kong. Her extensive knowledge and passion for sports will contribute to inspiring healthy lifestyles and encouraging physical activities in the company and the community.
Rebecca has an impressive track record in the world of squash. She has been crowned the Hong Kong Squash Champion an exceptional 13 times and achieved a career-high world ranking of 13. Moreover, she also had exceptional performance at the Asian Games, including winning the gold medal in the individual category in 2002 (Busan), and securing three gold medals in the individual, women's doubles, and team categories at the East Asian Games in 2009.
Rebecca obtained her Bachelor of Education degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2000, majoring in Physical Education and Sports Science. Combined with her strong background in sports, it further strengthens her ability to drive sports-related initiatives and foster a culture of wellness within AS Watson.
