AS Watson announces that the transition mission following the acquisition of Marionnaud by the AS Watson Group now being completed, Hugues Witvoet, CEO of the Luxury Division, is leaving the Group to meet other professional challenges. AS Watson would like to thank Mr Witvoet for the work carried out on the operational and strategic projects, particularly the restructuring of logistics, modernisation of the information systems and development of the new concept store for Marionnaud recently presented with success.
As part of its global Corporate Social Responsibility programme, AS Watson is launching an initiative this Christmas through its newly established Luxury Division across Europe aimed at generating funds and awareness with a commitment from different operations to donate a portion of their sales to their favourite local charity organisations.

The AS Watson Group in the UK today 25 September 2006 announces that it has promoted Euan Sutherland to the position of Chief Executive Officer of AS Watson (Health & Beauty) UK. Euan will continue to manage Superdrug and will take on additional responsibility for Savers in the UK reporting directly to AS Watson's Group Managing Director, Ian Wade.
AS Watson announced today the launch of the AS Watson Group Hong Kong Student Sports Awards (SSA), the first initiative of its kind in Hong Kong targeting at all local primary and secondary students. Under the new programme, awards will be granted to over 1,200 high-performing or potential students in sports nominated by their schools. The programme marks the beginning of a corporate effort to help develop an active sporting culture in welcoming the forthcoming 2008 Beijing Olympics.
