AS Watson Group announced the appointment of Clarice Au as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Retail Hong Kong, AS Watson. In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing the management of our four diverse retail businesses in Hong Kong, namely Watsons, PARKnSHOP, Fortress and Watson’s Wine.

The Fortress volunteer team recently joined hands with its business partner, LG Hong Kong, to organise the “We Care We Share” initiative at Caritas Our Common Home in Tsuen Wan which aims to provide an extended space for families living in subdivided flats. In her new role, she will be responsible for leading the MoneyBack, driving innovation and bringing endless exciting rewards to members across Hong Kong.

The Fortress volunteer team joined forces with Caritas Computer Workshop to facilitate an eagerly awaited computer workshop. Under the Laptop Transformation Programme, Fortress gathered unused laptops from their stores, which were then repaired by Caritas Computer Workshop and donated to underprivileged children. The team personally delivered the refurbished laptops to the children and organised a hands-on session, teaching them how to create animated greeting cards for their families using PowerPoint.
Fortress has partnered with the Education Bureau to offer the Business-School Partnership Programme, which aims to provide secondary school students with real-world work experience, and help them explore their career aspirations. Through this programme, students had the opportunity to learn about the latest trends in electronic products, as well as experienced the professionalism and customer-oriented attitude of the frontline staff. It has been a great success, with participants expressing keen interest in returning to work at Fortress in the future.
Fortress is committed to empowering and supporting the next generation to create a brighter future. Since last year, Fortress has collaborated with The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups to launch a charity programme aimed at supporting youngsters in pursuing their dreams through professional dance training. After several months of hard work and practice, the dance team made its stage debut at the Best Living Awards organised by Fortress where they impressed every guests with their incredible performance!
