Fortress is committed to empowering and supporting the next generation to create a brighter future. Since last year, Fortress has collaborated with The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups to launch a charity programme aimed at supporting youngsters in pursuing their dreams through professional dance training. After several months of hard work and practice, the dance team made its stage debut at the Best Living Awards organised by Fortress where they impressed every guests with their incredible performance!

The Fortress Volunteer Team has partnered with the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups to host a "Cross-Generation Wellbeing Day" to visit elderly people in To Kwa Wan. To help the elders maintain good health despite the epidemic, volunteers played games and shared some stretching tips with them. A Fortress rice cooker and electric kettle were also given to every elderly, as a token of love and care.

To drive sustainable living, Fortress & Caritas Computer Workshop (CCW) jointly launched the market-first Laptop Transformation Programme. Customers can recycle laptops at Fortress, and CCW will help to disinfect the laptops and install basic software, helping to reduce electronic waste and foster social integration. Fortress successfully collected 300 laptops in the 3-month pilot scheme, helping those in need and achieving Fortress’ social purpose – Living Better Together.
AS Watson Group organised the Project LOL Elderly Visit, a highlighting activity of Smile for Good 2021, sharing love and smiles with 2,000 singleton elderly in Hong Kong. With the support of colleagues from PARKnSHOP, Watsons, Fortress, Watson’s Wine and Watsons Water, the elderly enjoyed a wonderful time filled with love, joy and happiness.
In a bid to minimise the pollution to the environment, Fortress has launched the first-in-market laptop recycling programme with Caritas Hong Kong. The programme not only encourages customers to recycle laptops, but also helps train up youth to repair laptops donated to low-income families.
