The customer loyalty programme of Watsons Ukraine, Watsons Club+, won the Gold award in “The best strategic solution of direct-marketing or CRM program” in the annual award “Silver Mercury” for professional marketers.
The initiative was driven by a simple yet substantial belief: customers are changing and the company has to change itself to cope with customers’ needs. The aim of the project was to become a part of customers’ lives, facilitated by social media as the convenient and efficient medium to reach customers every day.
Social CRM is an emerging marketing tool in Ukraine and Watsons Club+ is among the first retailers using this to bring customer service to a whole new level with mutually beneficial dialogues and active customer engagement with brand activities.
