Hong Kong athletes have recently excelled on both local and international stages, demonstrating the city’s sporting potential and strength. Established by AS Watson Group, Watsons Athletic Club (WAC) has long been dedicated to nurturing local track and field talents. Its flagship event, Annual Challenge, was held again this year to encourage youth participation and exchange in one of Hong Kong’s premier athletics competitions. Taking place over two weekends—September 6, 7, 13, and 14—at Wan Chai Sports Ground, the event attracted over 6,500 participants across 21 events, with the youngest participant aged at 8 years old and achieved full registration for the 6th consecutive year.

AS Watson’s in-house digital agency, eLab Asia, hosted a vibrant Family Day, welcoming colleagues and their loved ones to join the fun. The event was filled with laughter and meaningful moments, featuring exciting team competitions, snack-making stations, interactive playgroups, and hands-on workshops. It created a heartwarming opportunity for families and colleagues to connect beyond the workplace.
To raise awareness about food cherishing in the community, PARKnSHOP has partnered with Shau Kei Wan Community Living Room to host an inspiring "Food Waste Tie-Dyeing Workshop." The workshop invited families living in subdivided units and transformed food waste into eco-friendly dyes, allowing participants to create their own tie-dye pieces. This initiative encourages resource reuse and nurtures environmental consciousness through community service, while continuing to spread kindness through the "Eat. Share. Love." campaign.
Watsons Hong Kong participated in the Community Sports Day organised by the InspiringHK Sports Foundation, sharing a joyful and meaningful afternoon with over 1,000 children and parents. During the event, Watsons Hong Kong health professional team designed interactive and fun games, offering practical tips to encourage a healthier lifestyle. Additionally, Chinese medicine practitioners and registered dietitians delivered an engaging talk, sharing insights on acupressure techniques and nutritional diets tailored for families to promote a healthier lifestyle.
AS Watson Group is dedicated to nurturing sports talent in Hong Kong. Thirty awardees of the AS Watson Group Hong Kong Student Sports Awards 2024-2025 recently participated in a five-day sports exchange tour in Malaysia. During their visit, they explored Malaysia National Sports Institute, engaged with elite athletes, and experienced Malaysian sports cultures such as badminton, pickleball, sepak takraw, and silat.
AS Watson International Buying and DataLab organised a Family Day, inviting colleagues and their families to join this fun event. The day featured team games for kids, dessert making, and an office tour, creating a special opportunity for families and colleagues to bond and filling the day with laughter and joy around the office.
Watsons Water recently hosted students from Hong Kong Baptist University International College and The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong for a visit to its manufacturing facilities. During the visit, students from Hong Kong Baptist University International College toured the production lines, gaining firsthand experience of the cutting-edge manufacturing processes and technologies that drive our operations. Meanwhile, students from The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong participated in a dynamic Hackathon, collaborating to develop creative solutions for promoting sustainability and addressing global climate challenges.
