PARKnSHOP Hong Kong's City Food Drive 2024 has successfully concluded, raising over HK$1.24 million in food and donations for Food Angel, which helps provide nutritious meals to those in need. The matching initiatives also contributed 1 million BESTBuy fresh brown eggs.
Watsons Hong Kong, in partnership with Junior Chamber International Tai Ping Shan, successfully concluded the Medicines Disposal Programme on 30 June. The initiative involved collecting unused medicines at nearly 60 pharmacies across Hong Kong and placing medication disposal boxes in back office to engage colleagues. The Watsons’ pharmacists team analysed the collected medicines, providing valuable insights for improving medication disposal services in Hong Kong and exploring opportunities for expansion.

AS Watson Group Hong Kong Student Sports Awards (HKSSA) has played a pivotal role in nurturing the next generation of athletic talent in Hong Kong. Shek Wai-hung, one of its past awardees, was inspired by HKSSA to pursue his sports dream.
AS Watson Group has a long-standing commitment to supporting and nurturing young athletes. 30 awardees of the AS Watson Group Hong Kong Student Sports Awards 2023-2024 participated in a five-day sports exchange tour in South Korea. They visited esteemed institutions like the Korea National Sports University, the Jincheon National Training Center, and the Kukkiwon, allowing them to learn from local athletes and experience firsthand the national sport of Korea - Taekwondo.
Watsons Hong Kong has collaborated with FRISO to launch the "Tin2Green Rewards" - the largest scale milk powder tin recycling rewards programme in Hong Kong. Customers can now return any brands of cleaned milk powder tins to any Watsons stores. Not only will MoneyBack members earn points for their recycling efforts, but the metal from all collected tins will also be repurposed into a variety of construction materials, granting these used containers a new lease on life while benefiting the community.
PARKnSHOP Hong Kong and Food Angel are celebrating their 11-year collaboration on the “City Food Drive” campaign, which encourages the public to donate surplus food while spreading love throughout the community. Customers can donate non-perishable food items at PARKnSHOP stores across Hong Kong during the 8-week campaign period.
