AS Watson Group is honored to receive the title of “Best Companies to Work for in Asia Award 2016” for the 2nd year in a latest human resources survey which covered over 4,700 employees across Asia region. Organised by the leading human resources publication HR Asia, the award aims to recognise the companies that have demonstrated excellent performance on company’s working environment, HR practices, employee engagement and the employee job satisfaction.
AS Watson Group (ASW) received three silver awards in the website stream category under the Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme 2016 today, including the ASW corporate website, the Group’s flagship local philanthropy programme ‘Hong Kong Students Sports Awards’ website, and the new CSR programme ‘Project LOL’ website, which participated in the scheme for the first time.
To celebrate the 175th anniversary of AS Watson Group and to support the Government’s “Appreciate Hong Kong” Campaign, the Group launched a philanthropy programme “Project LOL”. “Elderly Day 2016” held today is a large-scale volunteer activity under the Project, a volunteer team consists of over 1,300 volunteers from the Group, our 5 business units and 39 business partners visited more than 1,750 singleton elderly in Hong Kong.

Organised by World Green Organisation, the first “Sustainable Business Award” presentation ceremony was held on 18 December 2015. AS Watson Group was one of the ten corporations receiving the “Sustainable Business Award”, in recognition of its outstanding achievements in quality working environment, environmental conservation, business practices and community involvement.
