AS Watson Group always cares for the community and has been awarded as the Caring Company for 13 consecutive years since 2002.
With the belief that the underprivileged groups can contribute to the society with their own talents and working abilities, the Group is committed to providing them more job opportunities. In December 2014, we opened up the store retailing, warehouse logistics and clerical positions of PARKnSHOP, FORTRESS and Watsons to the underprivileged. In collaboration with the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, we worked closely with more than 15 non-governmental organizations to refer jobs to those with employment needs.
Training workshop was also held for about 50 store managers, front-line supervisors and HR staff in January to offer tips in enhancing communication skills with disable colleagues, utilizing their talents and facilitating quick adaptation to the new working environment.
