AS Watson Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeremy Seigal to the position of Chief Executive Office of AS Watson (UK) with management responsibility of all retail operations of AS Watson Group in the UK, including Superdrug, Savers and The Perfume Shop, reporting directly to Dominic Lai, AS Watson Group Managing Director.
A graduate of Oxford University and Stanford Business School, Jeremy commenced his career at The Boston Consulting Group before joining the Burton Group in 1986. Jeremy moved to Merchant Retail Group plc in 1991 where he co-founded The Perfume Shop (TPS). In 2006 as Managing Director, he assumed sole management responsibility for TPS. Under him, TPS has been the best performer amongst our UK retail businesses.
Reporting to Jeremy will be the executive team of Superdrug, Joey Wat, Managing Director of Savers and the executive team of TPS.
In his new role, Jeremy is charged with the responsibilities to lead the operations, consolidate our total UK portfolio of over 1,300 stores and create further synergies to strengthen our market positioning.
Based in Croydon, Jeremy will commence his new role immediately.
