Because I’ve always wanted to work alongside the beauty industry, and the job role was just amazing, I decided to do a placement year with ASW.
I loved the people and the company culture here. Although COVID-19 pandemic created some challenges and it was not as easy to ask for help when away from the office, everyone is so friendly, hardworking, kind and helpful, which made me feel so welcome!
I’ve learnt so much, from coding to being able to help run a website! skills that will stay with me forever. I really enjoy the job role and tasks required daily. I realise that this role is one I’d like to take up post university.
