The Answer Is In The Data

I joined AS Watson as a CRM analyst in 2012, and since then I have moved up to become a Senior CRM manager for AS Watson’s DataLab (Asia). We manage a large pool of data and I am responsible for enabling the business units and suppliers to turn CRM insights into actions, which eventually puts a smile on our customers’ faces. This is a very meaningful process and that’s why I got into the data field.

I love to see how my daily work makes a positive and lasting impact. By analyzing the data, it really helps us to understand customers’ preferences and behaviours so that we can rightly respond to their needs. This is why I think asking the right questions is really important. There is a lot of information in the database, so asking those business questions can ensure that the insights we share with the business units are relevant and commercially actionable.
