My career began in a small town in South Wales, working Saturdays at Superdrug. With the encouragement of great managers, I quickly moved up the ranks, eventually pursuing a degree in Business Information Technology to broaden my impact. After university, I joined Savers as a Supervisor and later became a Junior Buyer at Head Office, where I discovered my passion for international buying and learning from different cultures.
AS Watson’s culture of opportunity allowed me to try new roles, including managing the Savers website during the pandemic—a challenge that taught me so much about adaptability and teamwork. Being selected for the global InnoTeam was a career highlight, collaborating with colleagues from around the world to drive innovation. I am proud of my journey from a Saturday boy to a global innovator, and I know that with the support and opportunities here, the adventure is far from over.
