The Highest Standards, Every Step of the Way

We do not take that trust lightly, which is why we have established a stringent system for ensuring product safety and quality. It extends from product creation to the moment our customers select an item from our shelves.

All manufacturers involved in making Own Brand products are checked by AS Watson Group’s own Quality Assurance team and also external auditing agencies, to ensure they comply with the strict levels of safety and quality we demand.

Every newly formulated product is assessed by an independent European-based toxicologist, who checks that it complies with the strictest requirements of each market in which that product will be sold. You can be sure that any claims made on product packing have been proven.

When production is under way, we perform additional tests to ensure that we are consistently providing you with the finest quality and product safety in all Own Brand products. These checks take place in our state-of-the-art laboratories with international ISO17025 quality accreditation and in external laboratory testing.

We listen to our customers as their feedback is incredibly important to us. We want to know what they think, so we constantly monitor online customer comments on Own Brand products, and invite them to let us know how they are getting on with the products. For on-shelves beauty products we also have regular re-tests performed in our ISO17025 certified internal laboratory to ensure products are kept up to the required specifications.
