PARKnSHOP Hong Kong’s Food Safety Laboratory was recently granted the Accreditation for Organochlorine Pesticides Residue Testing under the Hong Kong Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (HOKLAS), recognising PARKnSHOP’s competency in conducting professional tests on food to ensure customers’ health and safety.
Currently, only seven laboratories were accredited by HOKLAS for testing organochlorine pesticides, and PARKnSHOP was the first supermarket chain in Hong Kong to be granted with this accreditation. Back in 2008, PARKnSHOP was also the first retailer in Hong Kong to earn the HOKLAS accreditation for microbiological testing of foods.
