PARKnSHOP Fundraiser to Help Victims in Indonesia Earthquake

PARKnSHOP announced today the launch of a fundraising effort to raise money for victims in Indonesia earthquake disaster.
Starting from tomorrow 30 May 2006 for 2 weeks until 13 June 2006, donation boxes will be placed at the checkouts of all PARKnSHOP stores to encourage customers to do as much as they can to raise fund to help thousands of victims affected by the destructive disaster. The entire proceeds will be donated to the Hong Kong Red Cross to fund their relief operation in Indonesia.

The massive earthquake that struck Indonesia on Saturday has claimed more than 4,600 lives. Thousands of people have lost their homes; livelihoods and many of them have lost relatives. They desperately need help of any kind.

Mr. Philippe Giard, Managing Director of PARKnSHOP Hong Kong appeals to the public for generous support, 'PARKnSHOP would like to rally the whole community to help the plight of the people affected by the devastating earthquake. Every cent will count to help relieve the emergency need of the victims'
